At Nava Music, our Guitar Classes help you discover the joy of creating music through strings, chords, and rhythm. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your existing skills, our lessons guide you through the essential techniques needed to play guitar with comfort and confidence. Start by becoming familiar with the guitar's parts, string names, tuning, and correct playing posture. You will learn how to hold the instrument properly, position your fingers, and practise basic picking and strumming patterns. These foundational skills help you build a strong starting point before moving on to more advanced playing techniques. As you gain experience, our lessons introduce you to open chords, chord transitions, basic scales, and rhythmic patterns. You will practise combining chords with strumming techniques to create smooth musical progressions while developing better finger control, timing, and coordination. Gradually, you can begin playing simple melodies and recognising how different guitar techniques shape the sound of a song. Our guitar lessons also encourage you to explore different musical styles, including acoustic melodies, pop rhythms, and instrumental arrangements. Through guided exercises and song-based practice, you can improve your ability to maintain rhythm, switch between chords, and play with greater consistency. You will also develop listening skills that help you recognise musical patterns and express your own style.
